Steven L. Hurdle

Steve Hurdle is a partner with Arnett, Draper and Hagood, where his practice centers on products liability, asbestos litigation, workers' compensation, tort litigation and insurance coverage issues. Steve is a native of Memphis, Tennessee and obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee in 1976 with highest honors. He then completed his J.D. degree at the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1979. After graduation, Steve served for one year as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert K. Dwyer on the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals. After that clerkship, he joined Arnett, Draper and Hagood in 1980.

Since 1990, Steve has been a member of the Division II Credentials Committee of the Tennessee Supreme Court, investigating applicants for admission to the bar. He has presented seminars to professional and community organizations on workers' compensation and legal ethics.

Steve is licensed to practice in all Tennessee state courts and the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Tennessee. He is a member of the American, Tennessee and Knoxville Bar Associations and the Defense Research Institute.
