As an attorney at Arnett, Draper & Hagood, Paul Wehmeier focuses his practice on labor and employment issues. Paul was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 2011, and is admitted to practice in all Tennessee courts as well the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Tennessee and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He is a member of the Knoxville and Tennessee Bar Associations.

Additionally, Paul was named an employment law Rising Star in the Mid-South in Super Lawyers Magazine since 2017.

Paul attained his undergraduate degree from Ball State University in 2004, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2011. 

While an undergraduate, Paul was an intern with the Indiana State House of Representatives and the White House Office of Public Liaison. Following graduation from Ball State, Paul worked in wage and hour enforcement with the Indiana Department of Labor.  Subsequently, he served as Assistant to the Director of the Indiana State Department of Agriculture.

As a student at the College of Law, Paul was recognized as the outstanding student in Labor Law for the fall term of 2010.  He now serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Tennessee College of Law teaching Labor Law.

In his free time, Paul enjoys being with his family, serving at West Park Baptist Church, outdoor cooking, and dabbling in state and local politics.
