Broderick Young is a partner of the firm, handling a wide range of litigation matters on behalf of the firm’s corporate and individual clients.  His practice is devoted exclusively to civil litigation, with an emphasis on tort liability defense, employment and business litigation.  He has litigated matters in courts throughout the nine county region surrounding Knoxville, Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky at Lexington, and the Circuit Court for Bay County, Florida.  Broderick has served as lead counsel in jury trials involving matters related to breach of contract, insurance defense, and personal injury.  He has also tried numerous bench trials involving similar issues.  In addition to his trial experience, he has represented clients in matters ranging from business torts, employment discrimination, estate litigation, and professional liability. 

Broderick is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell in the areas of Torts, Litigation, and General Practice.  He has been named a Master of the Bench of the Hamilton Burnett American Inn of Court, where he currently serves on its executive committee.  He also serves on the Judicial Committee of the Knoxville Bar Association, and is a writer for the “Judicial News" column of the Knoxville Bar Association’s monthly journal.  He is also a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.

Broderick is also active in the Knoxville community.  He has served on the Board of the Moses Teen Center of the Knoxville Boys and Girls Club, and he has also served as President of the Knoxville Civitan Club.
